I remember a time when all my brides wanted sunny days, or at the very least, it had to be dry. Now? Well, I seem to predominantly have brides who want stormy looking skies and darker days. They want something different for their album, something memorable.
Paula and Craig were no different; the day swung from sunshine in the morning, through stormy skies mid afternoon, until a torrential downpour at the point of the informal portraits. I take my hat off to both of them, they were certainly game! Not only was
it chucking it down, it was damned cold too. For that reason, as I scurried around setting the lights and building my scene, I kept Paula and Craig in the car till the last possible moment.

We are making room for some new gowns but rest assured our samples are only literally 6months old and have not been 'through the mill' as most other 'sample' sell offs. We keep our gowns in pristine condition, they are our pride and joy and so it is in no
interest to us to have them in a state which we would not be happy to recieve them in. In fact some of the gowns have literally only been tried on a couple of times, therefore making them a real bargin against the cost of a new gown.
The gowns which we will be selling off will either be 2012 current stock - so you are not buying old gowns, you will still recieve a gown which has been designed for a 2012/2013 bride.
For example we have an amazing Demetrios gown, full skirt with corset back - 2012 collection Only tried on twice!! Was (or is!!) £1800 now £1200. Beautiful Oreasposa gown taffeta with sash, gorgeous detailing Was (or Is!) £900 now £570!!
Many more available, sizes range from 10 - 16 with the majority being 12's. They can still be altered for that perfect fit! *

Some hair and beauty tips for 2012.
-- Choose a hair style that is close to how you normally wear it, for example if you wear it down and straight normally you could try half up half down with a wave or curl, most of your hair will still be down so it won't feel as abnormal as an up-do
-- Listen to the stylist: We have many years experience in this industry, we know what we are doing.
-- Don't panic or stress about your hair, choose from 2 or 3 looks so you don't have too much to worry about.
--Keep makeup simple, heavy makeup can date your look.
--Play with colour; Most people think brown is a "safe" colour, a pink or purple smokey eye can really set a look off. Don't be scared to try out different colours.
--Always finish off makeup with a matt powder; some mineral foundations/ powders contain a shimmer, this can make you look shiny in photo's which is not a good look especially on camera. Shimmer has to be applied in the right places to look flawless on film.
